Ice Age Trail Atlas (2020-2022 Edition)

Description

The Ice Age Trail Atlas features more than 100 color, shaded relief–style maps at 1:48,000 scale. In contrast to the smaller map excerpts in the Ice Age Trail Guidebook, each map is printed on an 8.5” x 11” sheet and includes not just the Ice Age Trail route but also suggested connecting routes and a wider snapshot of the area around the Trail. The maps are three-hole punched to easily insert into a binder.

Helpful icons identify parking areas, drinking water sources, restrooms and camping facilities. Different patterns of shading indicate topography, public lands and areas that are open to primitive camping. The last item is essential for those planning a backpacking trip. New in this edition: Trail and connector mileages are printed on each map.

Whether you are just starting to explore the Ice Age Trail or are well on your way to becoming a Thousand-Miler, the maps found in this Atlas provide the critical wayfinding information you’ll need to enjoy all the Ice Age Trail has to offer.

  • Pages are three-hole punched (except covers)
